PlayThePain is a mobile app that aimed to monitor that pain that patients felt whilst following their daily schedules.The platform consists of User Mobile Application, Admin Panel (Web-based), Doctor Panel (Web-based) As a research-oriented mobile application, PlayThePain assists the end-users or patients to explore their pain-related knowledge and monitor various conditions including feelings, sleep, medication, and activities. PlayThePain app is available in two languages French and English.

Objective

PlayThePain was envision by one of the scientists at Concordia University. He wanted to research and monitor the pain that the test subjects felt while following their daily schedule and the effects of it on their well-being, mood etc. He also wanted the concerned medical representatives and doctors on the campus to be able to monitor the core vitals, pain , feelings and medication of the patients and students whom they were treating

Our Solution

We integrate Amazon Lex chatbot and reward system into the app for more user engagement. Our developers made the feeling screens responsive on all devices and integrate Amazon SES for seamless email functionality.

Features

User (Patient) App

Signup or Sign-in with email and password.
See the list of activities like talk, track, play, share.
Talk with the chatbot. Users would be asked some questions about their mood, day, sleep, etc.
Track for Self-Tracking feelings, sleep, pain, medication, and other Activities.
Share stories publicly or privately and manage their story and see others’ stories.
Play encourages patients to focus on positive, fun, and creative things that are encouraged by the list of “Activities” or categories of apps.
View daily, monthly, and yearly all added information reports.
Achieve a reward badge when they are achieving the milestones for each type of activity.
Connect Patients and Doctors using doctor code.
Get daily, weekly and monthly notifications about their pain and feelings.

Login with email and password.
