Objective

The objective of the Zich project is to develop a personal safety and networking app that is sufficient in providing end-users with a range of safety features to keep them safe in any condition. The platform is designed with two interfaces: a mobile application for iOS and Android devices for end-users and a web-based admin panel for managing the app’s features and functionality. The app will allow users to create Orange and Red Alerts in case of an emergency. Moreover, manage their Heart and Life Circles to keep in touch with their loved ones.

The Challenges

  • Socket management: Managing sockets for proper connection and communication with the server is a challenge.
  • Join ongoing call: Enabling seamless joining of ongoing calls/meetings without disruption is a challenge.
  • Live location sharing: Sharing live location securely during an incident and stopping it after incident closure is a key feature.
  • Voice assistant integration: Integrating Siri and Google requires careful integration and testing for smooth and accurate voice commands.

We offered a user-friendly mobile application which help users in many way:

  • Mobile number login: Users can log in using their mobile numbers.
  • Voice commands: Users can send SOS messages using voice commands with Siri and Okay Google.
  • Fake Calls: Users can receive fake calls quickly and set custom time intervals.
  • Emergency Alerts: Users can send Orange & Red Alerts for different types of emergency situations.
  • Incident creation: Incidents can be automatically created with a summary and group chat feature.
  • Live Location Sharing: Users can share their live location during an incident and automatically stop sharing when the incident is closed.
  • Audio/Video Recording: One-tap audio and video recording with automatic sending.
  • Emergency Cards: Users can share emergency cards with custom notes containing critical information.
  • Group Calls: Users can initiate and join group (conference) calls with Agora implementation.

Auto Subscriptions: Users can automatically subscribe to creating incidents.

Admin Features:

  • Email login: Admins can log in using their email addresses.
  • User counts: Admins can view the count of registered users, total alerts, red alerts, and orange alerts.
  • User list: Admins can view a list of users and apply filters for name, contact number, and address. They can also download CSV or XLSX files.
  • Incident list: Admins can view a list of incidents created by users and apply filters for user name, incident type, and incident status. They can also download CSV or XLSX files.

Subscription management: Admins can manage subscription details through a dedicated page with various options.
